Who doesn’t love going to Halloween parties? Okay, even if you don’t, dressing up can still be fun. Whether you’re planning on going out or staying in to pass out candy, you and your significant other need a great costume. We have some fun ideas so you can enjoy Halloween night to the fullest.
1. Jack Skellington and Sally, The Nightmare Before Christmas
We can live like Jack and Sally if we want, Blink 182 said. The Nightmare Before Christmas is one of the most popular Halloween movies since its release in 1993. Jack and Sally costumes can be found at most Halloween stores and they look so cute together.
2. A Plug and an Outlet
For the cheeky couple, a plug and an outlet are a silly way to show that you’re a couple. Get ready to make all the party guests laugh.
3. Troy and Gabriella, High School Musical
If you want a throwback to 2006, look no further! High School Musical is a feel-good fun movie that we’ve watched many times together. If you’re a couple who grew up with Disney Channel, or just likes to sing together, try finding Troy and Gabriella costumes.
4. Peter Pan and Tinker Bell
Peter Pan and Tinker Bell is a fun way to bring back your inner child. Don’t want to get older? Neither does Peter and his friends.
5. A Cookie and a Glass of Milk
What goes better than cookies and milk? Nothing! If you don’t want to be specific people, be your favorite snack.
6. Jessie and Woody, Toy Story
To mix it up, get out your western attire with Jessie and Woody from Toy Story. These movies are classics and shaped so many childhoods.
7. Zack and Kelly, Saved by the Bell
It’s alright, because I’m saved by the bell. How can you not love this iconic couple from the late 80s – early 90s. Just watch some reruns and find outfit inspirations. There are multiple seasons to help you find what to wear.
8. Captain Hook and Emma Swan, Once Upon a Time
Once Upon a Time gave us a modern twist on classic fairy tales. Emma and Hook seemed like an unlikely match at the beginning because of their differences, but they made it work.
9. Mr. and Mrs. Incredible
Test your superhero strengths as a couple. Mr. and Mrs. Incredible work best as a team and so can you. This is also a great idea for couples with kids, so you can have the whole family go together.
10. A Disney Prince and Princess
As a couple, pick your favorite Disney movie and then go from there. There are plenty of options, from the classic Cinderella and Prince Charming to something more modern like the cast of Frozen. Disney costumes are usually easy to find at Halloween stores.
11. Hogwarts Students
This is one of the easiest couple’s costume ideas because you could choose to go as specific characters or just as a student from your house. Take a sorting hat quiz, find the right house and get the perfect costume. Don’t forget the wand!
12. Disney Villains
Who says you have to be the good guys? An unexpected and creative way to stand out is for both of you to pick your favorite Disney villain to dress up as. There are plenty of options out there. Your two villains can work together to change the course of history.
These are great costume ideas. I especially love Troy and Gabriella!

Great ideas! I wouldn’t have thought of many of these (not sure if I’d even recognize them TBH).

These are such great suggestions! Unfortunately my partner and I won’t be able to do anything this Halloween as we’ll be apart but if we were I’d love to do something Disney – I think Jessie and Woody would be so much fun! Thank you so much for sharing.

Aww! Troy and Gabriella is so cute! It’s a little hard to match with my husband as he has had a trend of being a different food item every year, however I’ll be bringing these up to him to see if he’s willing to try any of these. Thanks for sharing!
